U-Drive Dog Sled Adventure — Partner Experience

Choose your preferred day when booking. NWT Charter Services contacts available local providers and confirms the exact experience time—there is no fixed departure time. Round-trip transportation between your Yellowknife hotel and the kennels is included.

After meeting the dogs and receiving a detailed safety briefing, learn how to stand, brake, assist the team, and follow the lead musher. Guests then drive or share a sled according to the partner’s safety requirements, trail conditions, and group arrangement.

Available seasonally from December 15 through March 31, subject to provider availability, snow, trail conditions, weather, safety, group minimums, and animal welfare. Age, weight, mobility, and fitness restrictions may apply, and the partner makes the final decision about who may drive.

Included: Partner-operated driving experience; professional musher; safety briefing and instruction; sled and harnessed dog team; groomed trail ride; time to meet and photograph the dogs; round-trip hotel-to-kennel transportation.

Not included: Winter clothing; personal purchases; travel insurance; gratuities.
