Open-air show : Facing Sainte Victoire mountain (groups of more than 4), the artist will stage 2 famous Provence stories that will bring you in the heart of the culture of the region : 


  • La Chève de Monsieur Seguin (Mr Seguin's Goat)Seguin by Alphonse Daudet, a philosophical and humorous tale for young and old. 
  • The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono, a poetic short story full of wisdom, featuring Elzéard Bouffier, the mythical tree-planter and internationally famous hero.

The two plays are followed by a guided walk through around the Sainte Victoire mountain.

The show features these two famous Provençal plays:

  • La Chève de Monsieur Seguin (Mr Seguin's Goat) by Alphonse Daudet, a humorous, philosophical children's tale for young and old alike. Blanquette is bored in the meadow and dreams of going off into the mountains. But the wolf is prowling up there. Will she choose the tranquillity of the meadow or climb to the heights, risking her life?
  • The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono. An ode to life and nature, this story tells of shepherd Elzéard Bouffier, who revives his region by planting trees. Poetic and optimistic, this text restores faith in humanity. Written in 1953, it was a worldwide success and has become an ecological anthem.
