CHAMINUKA, MFUWE AND LIVINGSTONE TOUR FOR 8 DAYS

TOUR ITINERARY 

Day 1 in Chaminuka

Arrival at KK International Airport, with all smiles an airport representative from Chaminuka, will be waiting at the arrival area holding a signage with your name on it. You will embark on a 40-minute drive, Chaminuka Lodge. Chaminuka Lodge was the former home of historian Andrew Sardanis. It was one listed on Forbes’ World Most Famous Expensive Home and is a historic and renowned mansion in the whole continent of Africa. Enjoy your day through game drive, fishing, horse riding, and cheese tasting in the lodge! Swim by their pool and have fun playing tennis for the afternoon you can do a lot of outdoor activities under the sun, boredom is not an option on this lodge! 

Day 2 in Mfuwe Lodge, South Luangwa National Park

After your breakfast at Chaminuka, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Mfuwe Lodge in Luangwa National Park, please note that the check-in at the airport is an hour before your flight that goes to all their domestic flight. Upon arrival at Mfuwe International airport, an airport representative will wait for you another 40-minute drive from Mfuwe International Airport to Mfuwe Lodge. Enjoy your day relaxing in this sundowner and sightseeing over their lake interconnected lakes. Lunch will be served in the lodge. Surrounding bush, a herbal drink, exotic aromas, and highly trained local massage therapists await you on Bush Spa, but please take note that this will be at your own expense. At night, spotlights are used to out different cast of nocturnal creatures! Top off your day with a sumptuous dinner in Mfuwe Lodge. Dinner will be back at the lodge. 

Day 3 in Mfuwe Lodge, South Luangwa National Park

Wake up call be at 5:30, light breakfast will be served — cereals, fruit, muffins, toast, tea, coffee and etc… after this get thrilled for a 3-hour game drive! Brunch will be served at 11:00 am. After brunch, you have the option to enjoy a siesta time under the shade or to your chalet, hit the gym, chill by the pool, read a book by the deck — just plainly relaxing for the whole afternoon because you will definitely need some stored up energy for your late afternoon and evening activities. Afternoon tea will be served at 3 pm before you set off to start your activities in about 45 minutes. Your afternoon game drive will start in Luangwa National Park, snacks will be served in a perfect spot within the park. After finishing off your snacks, your evening Safari game drive will commence! You will be back at the lodge. You will still have plenty of time to freshen up before dinner. Watchmen will take you to your chalets guiding you with their torches and radios. Time to turn the day in! Get ready for a soaking 3 days in Livingstone. 

Day 4-6 in Livingstone 

After a fun-filled relaxing trip in Mfuwe, your 3-day tour around Livingstone is next. From the Mfuwe Lodge, you will travel to the airport, an airport representative from Avani Victoria Falls Resort will be waiting upon arrival at the NKumbula airport. The travel from the airport to Avani will take about 20-30 minutes. Enjoy unlimited access to Victoria Falls, the famous tourist destination in Livingstone named after her majesty Queen Victoria of England. Rafting through the high waters of Victoria Falls, and sunset Cruise in the Zambezi river. For your safari experience, get ready for a walk with lions and cheetahs of Africa. 

Day 7-8 in Lower Zambezi

After your breakfast, and also your journey from the famous sites in Livingstone, you will travel down to Lower Zambezi for 2 more activities awaits! You will be staying at Royal Zambezi Lodge for the rest of your trip. It is a 5-star accommodation with a breathtaking mountain backdrop of the Zambezi Valley Escarpment. Royal Zambezi Lodge, is situated across the river from Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You still have two activities left for this tour, your lunch will be served before you start your afternoon activity, dinner will be back at the lodge after your activities. 

For the remaining 2 activities, you can choose from the following: 

*Game drive

*Game walk

*Fishing (Hire of fishing Tackles $25 per person per day)

*Boat cruise 

*Canoeing

Day 9 Flying back to home

Your tour ends, from the lodge, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Lusaka.
