Bauchi and Plateau Wildlife Parks and Waterfalls 5-Day Tour

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and wildlife on this 5-day tour of Bauchi and Plateau States, exploring two of Nigeria's top national parks and having some splashing fun at Kurra and Assop Waterfalls.

Day 1: Kano - Bauchi

Arrive in Kano and hop on to another flight to Bauchi State. Upon arrival, head to Yankari National Park. Upon arrival, tour one of the most revered national parks of Nigeria that houses rich flora as well as different types of animals like elephants, birds, hippopotamus, lions and more. Then, see and experience the crystal clear waters of Wikki Warm Springs, a natural spring that has maintains a temperature of 30-degree Celsius.

Day 2: Bauchi

Spend the whole day appreciating and immersing yourself in nature at Yankari National Park. Experience the sounds and sights of the untamed animal lives as they roam around their natural environment. While in the park, you can also mingle with the locals at the reserve restaurant and Yankari Bar or sweat it out at the squash court and tennis court.

Day 3: Bauchi-Plateau 

Depart from Bauchi in the morning and travel for around 4 hours to Jos. Upon arrival, explore Jos Zoological Garden & Wildlife Park which is home to a rare collection of feathered creatures and other animals. If you wish to have a picnic and relax, you can also swing by Vongnifwel Hill and the Pine Forest within the park.

Day 4: Plateau 

Plateau, as you probably already know by now, is a haven to numerous natural wonders and wildlife. Today, you'll explore two of its major waterfalls starting off with Kurra Falls, a pristine multi-tiered waterfalls that's known for rock climbing, boating, and camping activities. Then, head to Assop Falls, which is perfect for swimming and marveling at the greenery surrounding it.

Day 5: Departure from Plateau 

Head to Yakubu Gowon Airport in Jos City and catch a flight to Murtala International Airport in Lagos.
