Itinerary:

Day 1: Osoba Adire/Kampala International Market

Today, we will visit Osoba Adire/Kampala International Market, an age-old market that will amaze you with its colors and buzz. Get ready for some friendly banter as you look for exquisite local crafts, jewelry, sculptures, musical instruments, and more. Then, try your hands at Adire, the art of making the tie-and-dye fabric the city of Abeokuta is known for. Create dazzling and colorful fabrics and learn from the artisans who learned the skill from their mothers and grandmothers.

Day 2: Olumo Rock

After breakfast, explore the most popular attraction of the state - Olumo Rock, the founding site of the city that once served as a natural fortress during inter-tribal warfare in the 19th century. On the way up, you'll see shrines, sacred trees, and tribal war-time hideouts before reaching the top for a rewarding view of the city.

Before the tour ends, your guide will also take you on a quick tour of the other landmarks of the state.

Day 3: Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library

On your last day in Abeokuta, you'll visit Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. More of a museum than a library, this place also offers an artifacts room, a cinema, and the main hall that gives insights to Olusegun Obasanjo's life from childhood to his rise in the army and presidential career.

In case you're looking to continue your Nigerian adventure, Ondo State is another must-visit. Within the city is Idanre, a village surrounded by seven mysterious mountains, having only one entry/exit. Logo State and Kwara State have some attractions as well but less visited by foreign tourists.
