Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Lagos
Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal. Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Lagos
Today enjoy and experience some of the highlights in Lagos and discover why visiting this city is a must when in Nigeria. Led by your guide, visit Lekki Conservation Centre where you'll be greeted by monkeys, crocodiles, and birds while on a canopy walk. Next, see interesting artifacts at the National Museum and know more about Nigeria's most important artist, Nike Okundaye, at the enormous Nike Art Gallery.
Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton Hotel or similar.
Day 3: Lago
This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel. Today will include a visit to the Ekpe fish market, the China market or the computer village market and then a visit the African shrine before returning to the hotel later this afternoon.

Day 4: Abeokuta
Hop on your tour vehicle and travel north to the town of Abeokuta and visit the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, a library/museum sitting on a majestic hill overlooking the breath-taking views of Ogun State. Stop at Olumo Rock, the founding site of the city which once served as a natural fortress during inter-tribal warfare in the 19th century. On the way up, you'll see shrines, sacred trees, and tribal war-time hideouts before reaching the top for a rewarding view of the city.
We'll then head to Badagry after the tour.
Day 5: Badagry
Start your day with a visit to Badagry's historical sites including Mobee Family Slave Relics Museum, First Storey Building in Nigeria, Badagry Heritage Museum, and Seriki Abass Slave Barracoon, all of which testify to and show the marks of the cruelty of European traders and their allies during the slave trading period. Take a break for breakfast at the Akran Palace, and get a chance to meet Oba De Wheno-Aholu-Menu-Toyi I, the paramount ruler of Badagry Kingdom. Take a cruise to the historic Gberefu Island, also known as "Point of No Return," and tour Nigeria French Language Village and the Seme Border.
End the day with a picnic at the beach. Overnight in Badagry.
Day 6: Badagry - Departure
Today, we will tour some more highlights of Badagry including the Agia Tree Monument, Vlekete Slave Market, St. Thomas’ Anglican Primary School, and Wawu Palace Cannon Guns. You will also swing by the District Officer’s Residence, the Early Missionaries Cemetery, and the Sato Drum Statue, the second tallest drum in the world.
End the day with a transfer back to the airport.
