Badagry Slave Trade History Tour from Lagos

On this tour, we'll step back in time into the Slave Trade era in Lagos State and discover the history of slavery on the Western Coast.

This morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation in Lagos. Once in Badagry stops will include Badagry Slave Museum, Vekelete Slave Market, and Mobee Royal Family Slave Relics Museum Badagry, all of which testify to and show the marks of the cruelty of European traders and their allies during the slave trading period. We will then continue your trip to the missionary built First Storey Building and the First Nigerian Primary School.

From here we will break for lunch before continuing to Badagry Coconut Beach. After a heavy morning of attempting to absorb unimaginable truths that were once an everyday part of life for some, unwind at the local beach before we make our way back to Lagos.
