Itinerary

Day 1: Perth - Margaret River (L)

A relaxed drive southward passing through Mandurah and Bunbury. In Busselton, visit the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Explore Margaret River, a famous wine region with a Mediterranean climate, renowned surf beaches, and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy a wine tasting followed by lunch. Visit Canal Rocks before heading to your hotel in Margaret River.

Day 2: Margaret River - Pemberton (F)

After breakfast, explore Margaret River, including another wine tasting. Drive through forests via Cave Road to Cape Leeuwin, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. Visit Hamelin Bay and head into the Karri forests of Pemberton/Walpole.

Day 3: Pemberton - Albany (F)

Brave climbers can scale the Gloucester Tree, one of the world's tallest fire lookout trees. Walk through ancient forests on the Tree Top Walk. Visit William Bay National Park, Green Pool, and Elephant Rocks before reaching Albany.

Day 4: Albany - Esperance (F)

Tour Albany and admire views from Mount Clarence. Visit the Natural Bridge and The Gap at Torndirrup National Park. Journey through Stirling Range with opportunities for a Bluff Knoll hike before reaching Esperance.

Day 5: Esperance - Kalgoorlie (F)

Explore Esperance's Great Ocean Drive, including Twilight Beach and Pink Lake. Continue to Cape Le Grand National Park with its pristine beaches. Drive to Kalgoorlie's Golden Mile.

Day 6: Kalgoorlie (F)

Visit Kalgoorlie Museum and Two-up Shed. Explore Lake Ballard with Antony Gormley’s sculptures. Afternoon free in Kalgoorlie.

Day 7: Kalgoorlie - Hyden (F)

Tour the Super Pit, Australia's largest open-pit gold mine. Drive to Coolgardie and along Emu Fence Road to Hyden.

Day 8: Hyden - Perth (F)

Visit Wave Rock and explore the history of this natural wonder. Pass through York and visit Mundaring Weir before returning to Perth.
