ITINERARY

Day 1 Perth – Pinnacles – Cervantes

After pick up from your hotel, you will discover Perth, situated on the Swan River, the sunniest city „Down Under”. Although it is one of the most isolated cities in the world, Perth offers many spectacular attractions. We begin our tour at Kings Park to take in a magnificent view of the city, Swan River and the Darling Ranges. There is also time for a pleasant stroll through this beautiful native park. A tour into downtown Perth shows you the shopping and business areas, as well as St. George‘s Terrace the financial centre, where you can find a contrast of old and new architecture. Our drive will continue through some of the best residential areas of Perth along the Swan River to the Indian Ocean. Fremantle, with its old colonial buildings, is next. This City is known for its harmonious combination of culture, maritime history and entertainment. Leaving the metropolitan area, we head north along the coast towards Cervantes, the entrance to the Nambung National Park. The Pinnacles are among the most visited natural wonders of the state. Thousands of limestone pillars rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand.  There is ample time to explore the area and to photograph these amazing formations. To absorb the great atmosphere and take some colourful photos from this magnificent scene we stay until sunset. These impressions of lights and colours will stay with you for many years to come.

Day 2 Cervantes – Hyden
Today’s drive takes us through historic settlements of the Heartlands Region of Western Australia. During the wildflower season, this area, which is rich in flora and fauna, blooms in a spectacular variety of colours. New Norcia, the only Benedictine Mission in Western Australia and its Spanish atmosphere will invite you to a break. This carefully chosen, beautiful piece of land represents an important era of Australian history. Via Chittering Valley we get to the picturesque‘s Avon Valley. A visit to a Camel farm is another highlight where you wil get valuable information and details about the history and modern use of the single-humped desert ships here in Australia. In York, a quaint short stroll in the oldest inland settlement of W.A. will take you back to the time of the first settlers. The old well-maintained and renovated houses boasting their original facades bring forth still today the atmosphere of the pioneer’s time. The journey continues to Corrigin, where we will stop at the famous dog cemetery. In the early evening we arrive in Hyden.

Day 3 Hyden – Perth

After breakfast, we will visit Mulka’s Cave and the famous and astounding Wave Rock. A short walk to Hippos Yawn enables you to better understand the story of this unbelievable nature wonder. There is enough time to explore these places of interest. The tour continues through the vast but surprisingly diverse region of the Wheatbelt region. The dusty paddocks surrounding Kulin have become a gallery of bright, quirky, community creations. What started as an authentic community marketing campaign to promote the annual Kulin Bush Races has become one of Western Australia’s most popular self-drives. The Tin Horse Highway provides a seriously entertaining drive and a fun alternative route to iconic Wave Rock. In the late afternoon we return to Perth, where this tour ends at your hotel.
