Located about an hour south of Sapporo is Lake Shikotsu, one of the deepest and clearest lakes in all of Japan. A part of Shikotsu-Toya National Park, this caldera lake is surrounded by breathtaking mountains such as Mount Eniwadake, Mount Fuppushidake, and Mount Tarumaezan. During the warmer seasons, the area offers various sites for birdwatching, eating and drinking, and camping. During the colder months and when the lake is covered by ice, the place turns into an icy winter wonderland for thrill-seekers.
On this tour, you'll discover endless ways to enjoy Lake Shikotsu - may it be by breaking the ice and jumping into the lake, burying your friends in the snow, riding on the rockhard ice, or floating on the water. Worried about being too cold? Our drysuit will keep you dry and ensure that you can comfortably enjoy your time. After a healthy and delicious buffet-style lunch, you may proceed to bathe and relax in the Lake Shikotsu hot spring, which is said to be great for the skin due to its gentle softness and moisturizing action.

Please Note
- A hooded top is not suitable as underclothing for the drysuit.
- Please bring towels, clothing that will keep you warm, and two or more adhesive hand warmers.
- Participants must be at least 13 years old and 140 cm tall. Please let us know if you're a minor (below 20 years old) or have a minor in the group so we can provide a consent form for the guardian to sign.
- Pregnant women are not allowed to join the tour.
- This tour will be held even on the day of a snowstorm. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather on the day.
- Photos taken during the experience will be sent by AirDrop to iPhone users and by GigaFile to others.
- Tours canceled before they start will be refunded or rescheduled. However, if the tour gets canceled midway through due to severe weather conditions, no refund will be issued.
