WHY TRAVEL WITH US? 

Our crew is one of the well-experienced crew in the whole of South Africa. This trip has no age limit, whether your physically fit or not, you can choose who travels with you and everyone is welcome to join on board. We tailor-made tours to suit your budget, taste, and we aim to hit your specific interests. We try to supply all your needed equipment, as we travel on or off the beaten tracks in Zambia. We guarantee the lowest cost for this journey. 

You will be filling in a checklist for the equipment at the beginning of the tour and will be responsible for the cooking equipment. You and the crew leader will both sign the checklist, and at the end of your tour should there be any missing and damaged equipment you will be responsible for any damages or loss. 

We will work as a team, with our professional driver in-charge he will have the final say regarding the vehicle, the number of hours he will spend driving, and most importantly the seemliness of the roads for your charter truck. We do not allow driving at night time, so make sure to plan your itinerary accordingly to the said conditions. 

In the event of a breakdown or invalidity of the vehicle for any reason, we will be responsible for looking for a suitable replacement vehicle(s).

*Rate given is only applicable if you are traveling for 7 days or more. 

**Please note that the months from June-October is high season for our Overland trips and charter trucks, you can book on these months ahead of time, or just in case try to fix your preferred dates outside of these months as much as you can. 

***All services are paid in advance and are non-refundable within 90 days of your booking. If payment is not received the charter is understood to be canceled. 

PLEASE NOTE: – Should the government increase taxes or introduce new taxes, ZTT reserves the right to modify the rates.

Inclusions:

• Overland truck

• Services of driver 

• Fuel, maintenance, and repairs

• Permits and road tolls for the vehicle.

• Tents and 24 Mattresses (Tents included in the charter price are 2.1m x 2.1m x 1.5m. Bigger tents are available on request.)

• 24 Chairs & 3 Tables

• Pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery for 24 people

• Electric fridge

• Cooler box 

• 2 25L Jerry Cans for Water 

Exclusion:

• 18% Vat of the charter price. 

• Camping fees of crew and truck at National Park and Conservancy area and entry fee; safari meals of Rumangabo crew, etc.

• Zambia Travel and Tours will cover any fuel increase up to 10% of the current fuel price at US$ 0.85/per liter. Any increase in excess of 10% will be passed on to the client.

• Additional charge for an assistant cook and helper.

ZTT ensures that:

• All of the vehicles are well equipped with operational safety seat belts, functional air conditioning, clean, and well-maintained. 
• All of the drivers are professional and have an excellent safety record.
• The drivers should always drive at a reasonable speed and should not be speeding up. 
• The drivers should drive on central streets when applicable and avoid driving on backstreets.
• Aside from your guides, drivers should never pick a ‘friend or comrade” or anybody else while transporting our delegates. 
• The drivers should always be polite with the delegates and willing to help.
