Go on this self-guided walk across Alfama and Baixa (created by our co-founders, Kristina & Wendy!) to discover the answer yourself as you admire the city panorama from our favourite viewing points (miradouros). Fun location-specific riddles will guide you from one hidden spot to another, taking you through secret passages and picturesque pathways. You’ll learn local stories and experience the authentic charm. It’s all about the tiny details… If you have a bit more time, try out the extended version of this walk.
This playful walk across Lisbon’s vibrant neighbourhoods sharpens your senses and encourages you to appreciate the most wonderful – and often hidden – details around you. This discovery walk is an educational and fun activity for friends, couples, families with kids, curious locals, visitors, and team building. You can fully enjoy this experience of connecting with the city while staying in your own group.
Experience Instructions:
Start at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia in front of the fish fountain.
End in Baixa-Chiado, near Praca Luis de Camões.
We do not meet you at the start location, you will receive all information via email from us.
Play 7 days a week, starting between 10:00 and 18:00 at the latest.

• This is a self-guided city discovery experience
• You can play in a team of 1–5 people
• Right after booking, you receive the play link to the City Trail (sent by email from Secret City Trails)
• This trail is available in English and Portuguese
• The link is valid for 90 days, starting on the date you booked the activity for
• Discover the city at your own pace, take as many breaks as you like
• You need internet connection and a little data. You'll play on your browser. No app download is needed.
